Can’t link mobile device for account management

It says I need to associate a number for an EE Consumer or Business plan, which I already have.
The same message pops up whenever I try

Just been trying to register a PAYG sim (for use abroad) in my tablet, and top it up. So frustrating, keeps going round in circles!

*Enter the number you want to top up

*We've sent you a text to verify this number - ITS IN MY TABLET!!!!!! aargh

Eventually found an answer but it shouldn't be that hard!!!!
