18 month contract is up and received email from EE advising me. Tried to use the portal but couldnt access it(used it before without issues). Tried phoning but put on a 20min waiting time, and this a Saturday eve at 18:00! Anyway, I threw a tantrum and decided to try another service provider. Signed on with 3(5g) and closed contract with EE who Ive been with for donkeys. Next morning I looked into this 5g system and then realised that I may not be able to get 5g good enough and would end up with 4g at best and that locals with this system rue the day they installed it - most properties in this area are old stone or brick construction and attenuate signals very badly. What have I done. Long story short; If I try this 5g/4g and its crap, could I just buy another package with EE and go back to them with all my old details etc still on the system almost as if I never left. I cant believe how quickly they closed my contract , it was less than 12 hours, agents must have been looking for something to do, which I find very annoying as they could have been just as efficient when I tried to enquire that Saturday evening thus saving me all this trouble!

@Pluggit : It is advised when thinking of new mobile provider to try it out 1st with their PAYG SIMs.
If you were to come back to EE you would come as a new cust.
What BB did you have with EE, mobile (5G) or fixed Home BB?

Thanks for reply.
I suspect I,ll start all over again. No hardship. These companies bump you off and take you back as standard practice. I had Home-Broadband, no line- rental and no preferential prices or terms. Ive seen packages that they do now and they are basically what I had. Just damned annoying that when I needed them to actually DO something for their money, they let me down, and when I needed them to ignore me for half a day they were on it like lightening.
Regards
