Ah, yes, of course, @Christopher_G . They all spoil their hardware devices by contaminating them with a controller app 😉 .

Hi, I have multiple blink cameras connected to a Huawei B818 4G router. It works perfectly with a ‘3’ (UK network) SIM card, but none of the cameras or sync modules will connect with an ‘EE’ sim. Tried PAYG, and pay monthly sims, no difference.
However, if you buy a ‘preloaded’ 120GB EE SIM from Amazon or Argos for £50, it works perfectly.

@SuperTramp33 : Shouldn't be any diff in EE SIMs. They all provide data.

I absolutely agree with you - there SHOULDNT be any difference, but EE have some quirky Ts&Cs, like there consumer SIMS had a 12 device limit (now updating to 20) however the preloaded sims have no such limitation.
i suspect there is a similar ‘anti-abuse’ restriction that unintentionally blocks the blink cameras

Where you see that? Only unlimited data SIMs would have such quirky conditions. So that rules out PAYG.
Anyway such quirks wouldn't prevent a device initially connecting.

I have been running blink's on Three sims and am setting one up on EE, I think the problem/resolution is to do with the content filter. This needs to be set to off, not High or Moderate
