5g ee router has red power light constantly on

I have rebooted my 5g ee router, it is about 9 months old, and I haven't had to use it recently so not sure when it stopped working, but I tried also to do a reset using the usual tool, on the underside of the 5g ee router but no change to the situation.

The blue lights being on for the network type, and the globe icons, green light for the wifi/wps however the power light is constantly red and the network does not appear in the list of wifi networks available to me.

Any ideas what to do next, as I am not sure what to do and the help community I can't seem to find anything similar.

Has it a PAYG SIM? If so, Sounds like your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation.

When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Thank you, that sounds exactly like the problem! I'll give them a call and try to reactivate it...that's a bit of a cheek given how much I pay each month for it and the fact the CPI increase added a load onto the price too!

If you had a CPI increase it'll be on contract, not PAYG. So hibernation is not the answer!
