5GEE Outdoor router times out

Afternoon, i have bought a few of the 5GEE outdoor routers, and am hitting an issue that when the webui times out, it cuts the connection, and i get the globe appear in the bottom right corner saying no intenet action needed.

As soon as i log back into the web portal the connection starts again.

The time out on the portal seems to be approx 10 minutes, where it works all ok, but then it drops the connection. My EE signal is excellent where i am, 100mb down, 45up on 4G.

I have been through the portal menu and cant see anywhere to make any changes.

I thought it miught be an issue with that particular router, but i tried another couple I have for other jobs, and they do the same thing. I have tried this with the EE sim i have, and alos as they are unlocked with a Vodafone sim, i get great connection when it is logged on, but then when it times out.. nothing!

I have tried hard resets, pulling the power lead when it is conencted, leaving off for 10 minutes or more, different working sims that have been tested in other known working devices, they work fine in Huawei devices, the little mifi dongle things. But I need these for metal portacabins where the mifi's don't work very well.

Im not very familiar with the EE 5G Outdoor Routers, so I probably not going to be much help to you, but maybe suggest some pointers.

First off, lets make sure we are talking about the same Routers, these are the ones with 2 Units per Package,  you have an Outdoor Device (which in my opinion BT and EE wrongly call the Antenna), its not an Antenna, well it is kind of, its a Active Antenna with a LTE/5G Cellular Data Modem built into the Unit, this is then fed with POE via a Category Data cable to the Indoor Unit (Router), correct?

I take it, these are for (or from) a Business Package, are these branded BT or EE Devices, or are they Unbranded, possibly Asus or Askey, there is a reason Im asking this, to do with Firmware and possible Hardware differences.

Hello, thanks for the reply, yes they are the 2 piece  units, one which is the weatherproof unit that has the sim card in the bottom, then has a vsealed cat 5 connector cable from the bottom of this that goes into a POE device, then a cat 5 from the other port of the POE to a standrd looking indoor unit where the cable goes into the internet port n the back. Yes, they are small business units on the small business package. and are EE branded units. The issue i am having is the very limited EE interface presented on the web UI. hardly anything can be changed or edited.

i have tried top log a call with EE but they havent got back to me. They suggested i take them back into a store to swap them for new ones, but the 3 units i have all do the same thing, so i dont think it is a hardware issue!
