4GEE WIFI mini not working with external CCTV device

Hi, 

We have the a 4GEE WIFI mini which we use for internet and the use of our CCTV however despite the internet working ok, we cannot access the CCTV remotely.  Our CCTV engineer has looked into this and is saying it is due to the 4GEE WIFI mini now not allowing an external device to access it?  Has anyone ever come across this issue before and if so what is the resolve?

Try setting the WiFi band to 2.4 GHz.
