4G broadband issues

I have had EE 4G broadband since 26/7 and I’ve been experiencing issues ever since.

my sky Q box will connect to the router but there’s no internet connection and I can’t get all if the channels

I can’t connect my Alexa 

My internet stopped working just after midnight and after switching the router on and off a number of times, I eventually got internet to work. However the router is now flashing aqua/ white and I can’t find why anywhere. I’ve googled the issue but have been unable to find an answer.

can anyone help with any of these issues please?

Hi Alex

I’ve created a new profile and it’s now set as default. I’ve tried sky again and I still can’t get any of the channels via the internet. I’ve attached a screen shot which shows it is connected so I wonder if it’s the ping rate which is currently 47.

@Janeyphill Sorry to hear you are still having an issue, it is possible the ping is an issue since that is what Sky mentioned to you originally, have you tried connecting the router via a wired connection to the box since setting up the new profile, to see if that helped resolve the ping issue? 

Are your other devices that were having issues connecting after the new profile was setup?

The sky q box is currently connected via an Ethernet cable. 
I plan to disconnect everything from the sky q box and see if I can get the Samsung smart tv to connect on its own. 
this appears to be a known problem for sky and yet they didn’t mentioned anything when I switched from stream to sky q which is very annoying.  We are now tied into a 2 year deal but at least we have access to our full sky subscription via sky go.
