@Emmarichardson1   You just need a Wi-Fi repeater.    This picks up the signal and pushes it further around the house as you can place this into any electrical socket.

You can not have 1 number over two dongles,

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Is a wifi repeater something that can be brought from ee or is it a generic thing, plus does it work with the mobile broadband units?

@Emmarichardson1  you can purchase them from Argos, eBay, Amazon, Currys.  They work via Wi-Fi.     They pickup the Wi-Fi signal from the router and you then place this repeater further in your home ( eg upstairs)  they then push that signal further in to your home.    You just connect to the repeater to have Wi-Fi elsewhere in your home.

Have look on, e.g., Amazon at Powerline adapters
