Stolen phone out of hours.

Hi, my wife's phone has just been stolen.I

have tried to report this via 150 and +447953966250 but I am always informed the office is now closed.

I have also tried the help chat and WhatsApp options but still cannot reach anyone.

How are we supposed to report it stolen in order to have it blocked?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi @TJS1234

There is an option for lost phones, which is open, but they say closed to try and get you to hang up as people still try and ask customer service questions at all hours.

Call again, pick the lost option, you will get through.

Edit - Just to add, I called 150, picked mobile phone, says closed, then says press 4 for lost and stolen.

Hi chistery, thanks for your reply.

I have just tried this again but the call is ended without the option to hold.

I haven't tried the option so can't say, but maybe keep trying? At least you'll have evidence in your call log that you have tried in case there's a dispute later on?

Have you set the phone to stolen in the google or apple account, depending on what type it is?

We will do once home, unfortunately the only other means of access to the apple account isn't with us.

Thanks for your help.
