PS4 unable to connect to 5GEE router

Been having an issue with my 5GEE router in thaty PS4 can't find the 5G signal to connect to. It can only find the 2.4ghz signal which when I try to connect to it has trouble connecting to the internet or the Playstation Network. I can connect to the WiFi signal fine on my laptop, phone and any other device. But the two playstations we have just can't connect. 

Any solutions to this problem? Has anyone else had similar issues?

Which error message do you see when trying to connect to WiFi?

It doesn't give an error message just fails to connect when it tests the internet connection. Either it can't connect to the internet on my playstation or it can't connect to the PlayStation network. 

I've looked at previous posts and can see other users have had similar issues. I've spoken with Playstation who have also confirmed it's an issue with the EE hub. 

I use my playstation for watching/streaming TV and I got the mobile router because my broadband speeds were so slow in the area. I've had to use my phone (with 3 mobile) to hotspot so I can watch TV/play games online, I've had to now pay to upgrade my data allowance because it's the only way to access the internet on my playstation. But clearly 3 has no problem connecting to the PlayStation network on a 5G signal, just seems to be EE that has the problem. 

Surely someone in the EE technical team must have a fix? Otherwise I might just look to cancel and continue using my 3 mobile phone as a hotspot as it works and would save me over 50 quid a month.

Yes mine was fine till last month then all of a sudden won't let me connect the ps4 to 4gee wifi.

Did you get it sorted???

Nah its just any box ive got the three_b345 and it's just not connecting and ive tried all solutions
