Nintendo Switch Pre order order number not recognised

I pre-ordered a Nintendo Switch 2 and I’ve received my order confirmation email with the order number. However, when I try to track the order using the tracking link provided or through the EE tracking page, it keeps saying the order number is invalid. I’ve double-checked the number and even tried copying and pasting it directly from the confirmation email, but I keep getting the same error.

when I try press the link in the email it just brings me to a page that says that this service isn't working right now It's been a couple of days. I used a guest account instead of my account to be as fast as possible.

Any help would be great thanks.

Hi @Ashleymm , I had the exact same issue and it is frankly a horrible system.
The issue you are seeing is because you are logged into your EE account, you have to first log out of your account and then try clicking the tracking link from the email and pasting in the order number.
Also, you have to enter your postcode EXACTLY as it was entered when you made the order.....I tried for days to get this to work and it turns out that I used all caps when I entered my original postcode when I ordered.....and if I tried lowercase or if I didn't add a space in the correct place then it wouldn't work.
It is a really bad system but I hope this information helps.

Once we've allocated stock to your order, you'll receive further updates from us. DPD will also assign a delivery date and timeslot along with your tracking details. 

If you don't have it already, I'd suggest downloading the DPD app so you can track this right to your door.

Omg thank you so much for your reply that is absolutely ridiculous system and one I would of never of guessed or thought of it took me a little while to remember my exact postcode I put in lol but got there eventually and can now see it 😀
