Hi. I have just ordered Lenovo Legion go steam 24 month bundle with data pass only. In the specs sheet it is saying it comes with Z1 extreme chipset 16gb ram 1tb HD. I have contacted EE rep on Facebook and they confirmed it is z1 extreme chip. My confusion is that it also says in spec sheet that it comes with windows 11 but it is supposed to be a steam version. It also says it comes with carry bag and controllers stand ( only the older legion go came with it). When checking Lenovo website there is no such a spec of steam versions. Z1e only comes with 32gb ram not 16gb. Now I'm worried I will receive the older version or even worst the z go chipset. Tried to speak to someone on EE chat but I'm waiting for reply already few hours so I guess they will not respond at the end. I guess I will wait for it to come and hope specs are written on the box so I can return if incorrect. What do you guys think?

I'm sorry it happened to you as well. I don't think they have z1 extreme units in stock. They just put wrong specs which is very poor on their side. Good luck with your return

So. Ordered Lenovo legion go s with online specs of z1 extreme chipset but when arrived it was z2 go chipset. Without even opening the box ( sticker with specs on the box) I asked EE customer service to initiate return. I have been send a link which I filled in and send straight away. Next day I get email from the returns that in order to start return I need to follow another link sent by them. According to the link I need to log in to my account and click on orders and returns and find the order and click on return. Problem is when I go there there is no orders to display so I can't initiate return. Why is it so difficult to return products. Any other company you just ask for return rma and you get it. It is like EE trying to sabotage your return process. All I was trying to do is purchase ( not cheap) product that was advertised as z1 extreme and due to no fault of my own it is a nightmare to deal with now. Rant over 😡 hope EE is reading this and taking notes

Hi. If you mmanaged to initiate return please let me know how you have done it as I'm having issues with it too 🤣. All I get is links from return channel telling me to log in and click on orders and returns but i don't have any orders to there so can not initiate return unfortunately:(

Hey again @Darius1212, I'm sorry to hear you're having so much trouble getting this sorted out.
I'd definitely recommend getting back in touch with channel returns and flag to them that this isn't showing.
Fingers crossed they'll be able to help you get things sorted from there.

Hi Peter,
I have but they could not help at the moment as apparently on system it is still showing as dispatched but not delivered although DPD tracking says delivered. That is why return can not be initiated. Hopefully this delay will not affect my 14 days return policy

Thanks for giving that a shot for me @Darius1212.
I've flagged this with a colleague and they're going to get this checked over to see if we have any other options.
If I need any further details from you in the meantime I'll give you a shout 😊

Just spoke to someone from EE and they trying to update the system to show that I have received the item. I have been assured that even though it might take up to a week to update my 14 days return window will not be affected fingers crossed

@Darius1212 As you've contacted us comfortably within the return window, this will be noted on your account and would definitely be honored.
Whilst the delivery not updating is delaying this from being processed, we would always go with when it was you initially requested the return.
Please keep us posted on how things go, it definitely sounds like things are moving in the right direction.

This is the specification on the EE website and app for the legion go s (steam version) but it has turned up with the z2 chip in it. Surely this is false advertisement?
