Hi. I have just ordered Lenovo Legion go steam 24 month bundle with data pass only. In the specs sheet it is saying it comes with Z1 extreme chipset 16gb ram 1tb HD. I have contacted EE rep on Facebook and they confirmed it is z1 extreme chip. My confusion is that it also says in spec sheet that it comes with windows 11 but it is supposed to be a steam version. It also says it comes with carry bag and controllers stand ( only the older legion go came with it). When checking Lenovo website there is no such a spec of steam versions. Z1e only comes with 32gb ram not 16gb. Now I'm worried I will receive the older version or even worst the z go chipset. Tried to speak to someone on EE chat but I'm waiting for reply already few hours so I guess they will not respond at the end. I guess I will wait for it to come and hope specs are written on the box so I can return if incorrect. What do you guys think?

I have had the exact same issue, looks like the website still shows the incorrect information? i feel like instead of us returning the product and getting a refund, EE should just supply what they have advertised

I ordered the white GO S As it stated z1e chip..it was the z2go chip =(. Retunred and ordered rhe steam varian which again clearly shows the z1e chip and steam and the core count etc etc (this SHOULD be a z1e chip as I have used one recently). The unit I received was the steam OS varient but again with a z2go chip.
I have raised this to the correct electronics team and they are checking smto see if the z1e varient is even something they stock, if not I am just going elsewhere and grabbing the legion GO 2 Z2e variant.
Did you ever hear back?

The only reply I got was to return the item if not happy and they will refund which I have and received my refund. They don't stock any devices with Z1e I'm afraid. They might stock Lenovo go 2 and Asus Rog ally X Xbox edition as they become available in October. I will wait until than and see if it is worth the extra £ over Z1 extreme versions.

Hi, The specs are crystal clear. they are just incorrect. Lenovo supply both Z2Go Chipsets and Z1Extreme chipset sin their Go S models, with win 11 and steamOS. there is no mention of the OG legion GO specs ALL info is 100% correct , however the for models that EE are not supplying and it seems the only option to do for an easy outcome is return the kit.. the actual resolution here is for the order to be honoured with the correct unit, they are available to purchase they are the ones advertised, the correct team need to stock the correct model instead of blindly ordering a "white" legion and a "blue" one.
following my recent call this is now being looked into as there has been no clear resolution here, however contractually the correct unity need sot be shipped. I will update here once I have heard back form the electronics team/whatever the team is called that source the items for them 🙂 should be 48 hours or so.
quite poor really seeing as this is a very easy fix. no one should need to return anything.
the return form has a huge error in that it will ask for 2 letters from your password ( for some reason) but the form expects 3... from what password exactly? the order num is 100% enough to initiate as return.

I’ve had the same issue. I took dated screenshots to show what I ordered and what I ordered from the site. I’ve opened the device box and checked specs on device and it’s exactly as you all say. I’m very disappointed as they are not making life easy for me returning the device. I’ve tried emailing them and had no luck as they are shocked themselves that they haven’t replied yet with messages of “have u received a reply yet?” Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated. This all really sucks!!

I think I'm about to be hit with this problem as I've got mine arriving tomorrow. I called before making the order as the prices seemed a little too good to be true to me and the spec said Z1E. What a let down 😞

Received and it is the Z2go Version! AVOID though it appears in between my previous post and this one the site has been updated and there is no Z1 Extreme version on the site. My search continues......

The only side that sells Z1 extreme version in UK that I could find is Lenovo themselves. £699
