Help! PlayStation purchase

Babscalv
Visitor

My daughter purchased a PlayStation 5 and game, paid in full and is excited to have it delivered this weekend but she keeps getting emails asking for a utility bill or to email her ID to prove purchase otherwise you will cancel the order.

i spent an hour on the phone to an adviser yesterday and got o further, they didn’t deal with it and said to just do a webchat today instead, I can’t even find a link to do a live chat.

The service is terrible and I can’t even get through to make a complaint, I am at a loss of where to go and have one very upset daughter who is £500 down and no games console and no where to contact!

Hi @Babscalv

Welcome to the community.

I know how eager your daughter will be to find out what's happening with her order.

Where was the order placed, was this on the EE Store online?

Hi @Babscalv

What game and what is her age as it sounds like age verification.

Thanks

Usually if you have paid outright for something you wouldn’t need any form of ID. You would only need ID upon delivery and then DPD would send you a code or pin you would need to tell the driver.
strange one is this.
