Can’t play online games with 4g EE WiFi router

So ever since getting my 4g router I’ve noticed with my Xbox that it allows me to play online with some games and not with others. It tells me It’s running ipv4 but I need ipv6 to allow online play. Don’t know what these things mean was just looking to see if there’s a way around this?

Morning, @Kylemccann95

Welcome to the community.

Are you given any error messages when you try to play these games online?

Could be a Nat issue .

I got rid of my EE 4g router because of upnp issues causing strict Nat type.

Some tech resources suggested that the carrier grade Nat was to blame,

Hey Chris, I have the same issues. I'm using the ee 4g mini mifi device as in the middle of the sticks as my WiFi. Its connected to my xbox and it wont let me play some games online. Any advice? Should I speak to my local ee store.
