No, I'm afraid it didn't work, but I've sorted my problems over the phone with ee now.

Hi EE

I have got to say this is really poor from yourself. I’m experiencing the same problem that I have something in my basket I want to delete but can’t. I have tried all the obvious clearing history ,logging in on different devices etc.Every time you go to edit it just take you through to pre finance page asking about your salary there is not option to delete. As I said this has been going on since last year looking at forums on here yet nothing gets done about it. Il be taking my custom elsewhere like many others if you can’t sort out something glaringly wrong like this.

Welcome to the community.

I will do my best to get this looked into. I've done a bit of testing this morning on a couple of devices, when logged in and logged out, but cannot re-create the problem.

What is it that's stuck in your basket and what kind of device(s) are you using?

The way it should work, is to 'edit' the basket, then hit the 'bin' icon to delete it from there.

Thanks for coming to the community. 

Are you logged into your EE account or a new EE customer? 

When you select the basket on the EE Shop online do you have an edit option showing? If so, can you try and delete the plan and device selected?

I have tried all your suggestions I have a sim deal in my basket but can not delete it. Its maddening such a simple thing ,it's been in my basket so long now.

Can you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you not getting the 'bin' icon to delete it? or is it taking you to another page when you try to delete the basket?

I have the same issue as above, No bin icon, I click Edit item, and it just takes me back to the product screen. Using Windows Laptop, on Chrome Browser, I have a Pixel 9 Pro on 24 months Essentials 25GB plan stuck in my basket. I am an existing customer - I was trying to upgrade my current sim only deal. 

Please resolve this.

I'm sorry you are having trouble with removing something from your basket. You mentioned this being an issue on different browsers, when you log into the EE app and try and upgrade, does it also show something in your basket within the app?
