Wrong address when viewing broadband service status or booking broadband upgrade

I have a really peculiar issue where my billing address and postal address for my EE account are showing my current address. But whenever I attempt to view the broadband service status in my area, or whenever I try to book an upgrade, it shows a completely different address, (the address where I lived 6 years ago), rather than what my billing and postal addresses are showing in my account.

I was moved over to EE broadband from BT, and I linked my new broadband product to my already existing EE mobile account, but something seems to have gone wrong. I've phoned EE about this two weeks ago, and the chap on the phone said he took some details down and was taking this to "back office", but I've heard absolutely nothing back about it since then. Is this a reasonable time to wait for things to be sorted? Or is now the time to start escalating this and making complaints?

Hi @Heenbean 

Welcome to the community.

I recommend giving our customer support team a call so that they can check to see if anything has come back from that back office team. If you're not happy with the response, you can ask them to open a complaint on the account so that it's managed accordingly.

Hopefully, they can shed some light on this and get it sorted.
