Unable to empty basket after trying to add an upgrade

Just tried to upgrade to a pixel 9 with essentials plan, the deal showed 27.00 per  month but after putting this in the basket it changed to 42.00 per month.  I want to remove this from my basket no but there does not seem to be any way to achieve this.  The basket seems to be stuck in the credit check process.  I can add other items and remove them as they are placed in a second basket.  So there is something failing in the basket(s) that are part way through the credit checking process.

Welcome to the community.

In the top right can you see the option to "edit basket"? If so, you should be able to click this and then use the bin icon to delete. 

If this doesn't show as an option, are you able to clear cookies/cache to see if this does the trick?

When I edit the basket I get taken to the credit agreement page and there is no means of leaving this page without continuing through the credit agreement.  There is no bin icon, unlike the basket that contains non-credit agreement products.  I have tried various browsers including incognito and clearing cache and even a different PC with the same result every time.  In fact today it is worse, as the cost of the 'Deal' has increased from 42.00 to 49.00!!!

Hi,

If all else fails, you can remove the cookies set by the EE website. This will log you out and remove anything from your basket.

You will need to login again, but this should resolve your issue.

Here's how to delete the cookies for the EE website only using Google Chrome. You'll need to click the icon next to the website address as shown here:
