If you have enabled auto updates on your app then, once this version has been rolled out to you, you will log in and see the new experience. If you have not enabled auto-updates, we will provide you with a few prompts to update the app

Looks cool but it got complicates things became confusing and compounded. I'm having a personal issue with is; after updating, it suddenly says I am not eligible for update, but when I called to find out, I was told I'm qualified as I should be. To upgrade I have to call in, which I don't find comfortable

Seems to me we moved from a functioning easy to read app to a jargon loaded non-functioning one. It’s ok to keep “style” updated to modern times.. but please, can we get the basics right? Give me my account data not a load of zeros… if a text of AL to 150 gives me the right balances.. why can’t the app?

Why doesn’t the new app let you on the EE app once you run out of data.
Old app once no data I could log on and gift more data now I can’t new app won’t even login

I've had confirmation that My EE is still zero rated for EE mobile data.
If you're still seeing this issue, please get in touch with Technical Support so the team can raise a ticket for you.

Whatever, seems like you have a hard time with reading comprehension if that's all you managed to get out of my post. Anyways, seems like I ended up being right after all since EE's gone and removed that animation now. The app's performance isn't the greatest still though, but it is better compared to when I last used the app (around when I was complaining about the animation/performance stuff). There have been some nice tweaks to the fluidity of UI animations, particularly when overscrolling to the top/bottom of pages, although some stutter/lag is still present in the app generally which is a shame to be honest.
