The app is being improved??????

Honestly I'm sick to death of this message!! I pay extra to get the WiFi enhancer so that I can use the app yo make sure all my sons devices go off at bed time. Yet the app seems to CONSTANTLY be "being improved" so I  can't use it. It's not like it's even improving because the app is still as rubbish as always.

Same problem here, unable to get into the app to change wifi settings and turn off wifi for my kids devices.  

The ability to control wifi devices needs to be within the router app, not a web app that seems to be down more than it is up.

@G_J_S_S  when EE takes accounts off-line to do maintenance it’ll take the app down as the app is a linked to your account.   The app is also not a web app it comes from an App Store 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I understand this, but I didn’t realise when I switched to EE from BT that basic things such as disabling WiFi for a device was dependent on the app working, when it should just be local within my network. 
I still don’t fully understand why all my device details needs to go up into the cloud and onto EE servers, maybe I will switch back to a different router so downtime of the app doesn’t affect what I can and can’t do with my network.

Hi Chris, it also available the next day. That isn't very helpful as I don't want my child to sleep during the day. The app is down so often it's ridiculous.  Even when it's not down its so slow it takes 5 minutes to get into it! I don't understand how with a company as big as EE, the app can be so glitchy and slow. Yet apparently is always "being improved" ?? 

Those makes zero sense to me. Why ask people to pay more for a service that doesn't allow you to use it half the time??? You are explaining why the app is down so much. That doesn't solve the problem. Just confirms that it isn't worth having! You advertise being able to control your devices etc. When what you should say it - control your devices every now and then, but not if we are doing maintenance on an account. Which will be around 4/5 times a week. So you will rarely be able to access the app. Also when you do access it, you will come across constant buffering and to change the settings it will take you around 5 minutes as you will be waiting for each page to load for a long time.

 

Nobody would bother with it! It's false advertising. My 11 year old son could probably build an app that would work better.

I had same problem. called uk 08000798586 and followed broadband tv options.  an extremely helpful woman had my disco+ up and running in minutes. you'll need disco plus app on your tv. good luck
