System failure page when logging in

This has started today after I had problems with the blank page with blocked showing.
The log in credentials for my EE account and this forum are the same which may be the issue.

Normally I could log in here and log out with no problems but now if I only  log in here I get the system failure page.I can only access the community if I log in to my EE account first and then log in here which is a pain.

I have looked at my settings and can't see any option to change the community log in settings - it's my email and a password - so that I can avoid what appears to be a potential conflict.

Your Community a/c is based on your EE a/c with the same creds. You can't disjoint them. The Community a/c just assigns you your Community username, @Conrad1961 . It's the same for all of us.

@XRaySpeX  Ok- having been used to the BT forum where things aren't linked had confused me. So going forward I must sign into the EE a/c first. Is there any particular reason this has just happened or is it a case of the system doing its thing eventually.

Yes, it's diff with BT where their Community & your MyBT are discrete. EE decided to introduce a Single Sign-On (SSO).

Thanks for your help. One of my many personal problems is very visual processing and an aversion to change.

On the bright side when I logged to the EE a/c I didn't have to log in here again for the first time.
