Seriously how long can an App update take. Its been over 24hrs. Joke company

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Can you try deleting the app, then going to your app/play store and redownloading the My EE app.

Why should customers have to delete the app and then re install for it to work? No other apps do this so do it's something you've done to force this. If EE can't manage to update an app then something's seriously wrong!
