the app today seems to take forever to load (about 5 minutes) then a popup says "it seems like you have lost signal" but i can log in via a web browser on the same mobile signal without a problem so its obviously the app which is at fault.

i've cleared the cache and then the app data but its still the same

Are you using the app connected to WiFi or mobile data? 

Can you access other apps?
