Mission Impossible... Or Just Painfully Slow?

Hello Community Members - is there still a (relatively) simple way to communicate with EE/BT Customer Service? I have had separate BT Broadband, BT TV and EE Mobile accounts for years and now that I'm currently out-of-contract and available for renewal, I wanted to see if there was a simple way to merge them somehow to take advantage of the 'exclusive' upgrade offers that seem unavailable to me on clicking through to them, despite staying loyal since the days of T-Mobile 🙂

Both of my BT and EE accounts seem messy and cluttered now - I'm getting EETV/Broadband/Mobile offers on both customer portals but no way of accepting them. I will accept that, although address details are the same, the personal account details would benefit from having the same name and log-in email etc. However, both sites have help pages that are slow, glitchy on Firefox and Live Chat is not showing as an option (I see others in this community have similar issues). My current work environment will not allow for waiting on a long 'your call IS important to us' phone line conversation. An email or chat option would have been perfect... a conversation I could have started and continued between working hours.

If any community members have had a similar situation and an easy(ish) resolution, I'd love to hear from you. I do know I'm currently over-paying for everything EE and BT related and the frustration I feel from inadequate ways of communicating with the companies is perhaps a sign that it's time to quit both and look at other deals elsewhere.

I'm sorry to hear about the confusion with your plans, and I can understand your frustration at not being able to move forward right now. 

We do want to find you the best option with us, but we do not offer an email or chat option for discussing your broadband with our team. Our team are available until 9pm at night, so you should be able to call us outside of work hours, to get this resolved.
