Hi can anyone help I have a random notification on my EE app when it’s closed and I don’t know what it is? I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app yet it’s still there ???

Hello

Not sure if anyone else is seeing this problem but since the recent update to the ee app it contains some bugs

Firstly I have phantom notification badge on the icon which won’t clear, I have no notifications on the app which I can see, and a reinstall hasn’t sorted it 

Secondly I’ve also keep getting phantom push notifications checking the notifications setting it shows disabled but they are coming through

I’ve also noticed adding any add ons to your broadband results in an error message but this has been happening for weeks now

I have attached the images I am referring to, tried to speak to ee today but they make it difficult and really didn’t understand the issue and basically fobbed me off

anyone know how to pass to their devs/tech support?

What phone are you using?

When you spoke with our customer care team did they raise a ticket?

I’m using a iPhone 15 Pro app fully uninstalled and reinstalled also logged out and back in again still have the same issues.  when I spoke to somebody yesterday via chat, they didn’t provide me with a ticket ID and I got the impression they didn’t really understand the issues I was trying to explain to them

If a ticket has been raised this will be sent to a higher level team to investigate. 

Once there is an update you will be notified.

i believe a case wasn’t raised they never said is there a dedicated email I said send feedback to

A ticket ID is provided when a case is raised. 

There is no direct email for feedback, please give us a call on 150 and our teams will be happy to help.

Contacting ee about this didn’t get me anywhere when trying, so I’m not wanting to waist any more time I’ll contact your complaints team who I’m in direct contact with
