So every time i am due an upgrade i get this issue were i go online to do the upgrade but every phone i click on says " sorry there are not suitable plans"

This has been going on for years. Its a real inconvenience as i need to do it online so that i can add my 20% student discount.

Every time i want to upgrade i have to go through this farce of a system, first live chat - oh we can do the upgrade but cant add the discount ( however in the past some have added the discount)

Then i phone in and they do the upgrade and forget to add the discount to which then i have to call back later to have it added.

Ive never been able to do my own upgrade online in the 6 years ive been with EE.

How can i have this issue on my account sorted as i honestly don't have hours to spend trying to get this resolved every time i need an upgrade

my standard upgarde is due today and i would like to upgrade now but as usual no suitbale plans

@oj2413 , when you ring customer service then make sure that they add your student discount at the same time.

I find that by ringing them and doing it over the phone, you may get a better deal, but always make sure that they do not forget to add you student discount. Not sure why you cannot see a suitable plan.

Me either I upgraded one of my plans a few weeks ago but I just assumed because it was an early upgrade and you have to choose a plan the same price or higher, that was the reason I couldn't see the plans.

But this is a standard upgrade so was hoping this time around I could just do it online but no same issue.

The advisor said their technical team is working on fixing the issue but I don't think that's true as I've always had this issue and looking on here seems alot of people have the same issue 

Not really the point, why have a function on the app / website that doesn't work, it's a bit pathetic in this day and age.

This is not customer service, but a public forum where most here are customers like you, so cannot answer that one.

You should however, be able to click on shop and then upgrade and find what you are looking for, that to me is not pathetic, as then you should still be able to order online, if you so wish, without logging into your account via the app.

Seriously, you are happy for the app / website to not work correctly. As for your comment regarding this being a customer forum not a customer service forum, that tends in most cases to go without saying. You seem to have missed the point of the OP with your response of 'make sure they add student discount' if the upgrade option worked correctly the OP wouldn't have to.
