iPhone 12 and iOS 16.5
Since the latest update, every time I log in the app acts as if I’ve never used it before. It asks me to log in on the EE website, asks me to setup a PIN, asks me if I want to use FaceID next time (I say yes), then get a rotating green thing for about a minute. Then the Home tab appears but every action is ridiculously slow.
Next time I use the app I have to do all the above again.
What I’ve done:
Tried using three different WiFi networks
Tried using mobile data
Switched phone off and on
Deleted and re-installed the app

Just to add, that the app is now working. I don’t know if there was an update or something changed in the background.

It sounds like you've tried everything we'd usually recommend. I'll feed this back to our My EE team so that this is hopefully fixed on the next app update.

EE has made considerable changes but has not thoroughly QA-tested its new systems or processes and has suffered the consequences. Paths to complete a simple task are now 5-6 clicks away or convoluted. They now have consistent Errors on pages and a chatbot where all eventualities lead back to the same spot of having to contact 150. Their website is sluggish and slow, and the app is even more messed up than it was before.
