Mobile number not recognised

Hi 👋 

Today I upgraded my phone and transferred my contract to a business contract. I’ve been with EE with the same mobile number for years. When I log in to the EE App, it remembers who I am from my sign up credentials, but it does not recognise my mobile phone and it won’t accept me trying to link my number to an account. It says the number isn’t recognised. Any ideas?

Hi @WFAlex79 

When transferring to a business account, your billing account number will have also changed. It may take 24-48 hours to recognise your number has transferred, so it's worth trying again after that period. 

You'll need to link the new EE account number to your EE online access to be able to view the details as you did previously. 

Have a look at How Do I Register For A My EE Account? for steps on adding the new account to your existing login, and the business Live Chat team if it's still not recognising your number.
