I'm trying to switch to a Sim-only plan. At checkout it's asking me to type in the PAC code. But I don't need one because I'm not leaving EE I'm just switching plans. It say's You used a PAC code thats for moving to a new network provider. Please call us on 150 from your mobile to talk about your code. It won't let me leave it blank.
This makes so sense whatsoever. I'm so confused.
Why would it ask me for something, then when I give it to them it says I don't need it. But it won't let me buy the plan if I don't provide it????
What should I do? Thank you

You need to do this as an Upgrade through your EE Account.
This process will not ask for a PAC Code to keep your number.
The process you're describing sounds as though what you're doing is actually an additional line and not an Upgrade/change of price plan.
