Fibre broadband

I've received an email from BT. My fibre broadband contract is expiring soon.

1- I can renew with BT, but somehow I need to upgrade to a package with options I don't need. 900Mb / £48

2- I've logged into my EE account and can get a 1.6GB fibre broadband for cheaper. £42 I think (I can't check as the website is under maintenance ...) - and I think I can add TV

3- As I have BT and EE, BT (or EE) has kindly offered to migrate my package ... but I can't choose the 1.6GB option. And the 900Mb is more expensive than staying with BT (doesn't make sense) - and I can't add TV

So, I guess my choices are:

1- stay as it is, it works well

2- cancel BT and go with EE

Anyone else had a similar dilema? Which option have you chosen?

Am I missing something obvious? Why is my post not allowed?

Option 1.

The prices you see on EE website are for new BB custs. You won't get those as your not a new cust to BT/EE. If you want to to move to EE you need to do it thro' your BT a/c.
