So it is not just the EE and BT and all the scams and hidden charges and fees , it is almost all companies are loosing the plot. How about treating people right. ??? Customer retention could be huge , customers would be happy, you stupid companies would not have half as much work to do !!!  Instead you get greedy **bleep** sales people to lie and deceive, hide actual reality costs and fees. Why. Are you stupid !??? It is almost guaranteed that something will go totally wrong nearing ends of contracts ,people shift providers or get deals they did not expect understand or want. I have had enough of this crap.  How about easy in easy out long term deals so we don't get **bleep** over by your fools , you would not need agents dealing with problems and we the customers would have easier lives. You would retain lifelong happy customers.  I have had days of nightmare crap and really. Why o why.

Hi @MartinYork

You can complain here: https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee/complaint

Move provider if you're unhappy. Just done it myself with broadband and it took a few days. Honestly it was that simple I was more put out that I had not done it before rather than staying and incurring the additional service costs.

Thanks

That is nonsense! The point is they tie you into various contracts and
charge penalties to leave each one.

@MartinYork , you need to read the t+cs to know that you are tied into a contract, but if you want to leave, yes before your minimum term is up, you have to pay the rest of your contract as per contract terms, which is normal, nothing stopping you leaving, but if before minimum term, you will have to pay. No need for bad language or for beeing rude either.
