How can I start an online chat with EE?

According to the forum there should be a "message us" button in the EE app under the help icon at the bottom but I don't have that option, I only have "Talk to us".
I'm at work and am on the phone a lot so I can't make calls but I could have a webchat. How can I start an online chat with EE to get some help?

@AlanLamb : Are you on PAYG? You only get Live Chat on contract.

Just to let everyone who wants to web chat instead of calling know. If you call 150 they'll then send you a text message to connect you to technical support. Once you click the link in that message you can then web chat with them. Not sure why they make it so difficult but hopefully that helps.
