Gifting data

I’m trying to gift data. I cannot anywhere in the app find anything about data gifting despite using this forum and searching relentlessly.
It’s not in the website or the app. Do I need to add a family member to my account to gift data? How does it work I need step by step. Previous posts I’ve seen do not work including. Full usage, family usage, who do you want to gift to..this doesn’t work. The site and app are so frustrating

To gift your data to another number they must be under one account. I also found the information hard to understand but I eventually got an answer.

simply move the accounts you want to gift to, under one account(assuming you will be the bill payer) then you can gift data on app on online.

If the other accounts are in contract you should speak to ee on 150 to discuss changes to account ownership.

Thank you for your reply that’s very helpful..although a bit daft not being able to send it to anyone else family wise unless you pay the bill.
my sister has just moved to a property and doesn’t have broadband yet so was seeing if I could gift her some. Thanks for the help though

Are all nos. under the same MyEE family a/c, not PAYG? They need to be to be able to gift data. See Gift Your Data and Set Controls .

I just thought I’f you knew someone with EE you could gift them data. My sisters account is under her name, I get kids being on your account but thought it worked for family member you could add them to a list to gift data
