Early upgrade

Good Morning,

I logged into my EE account for the past couple of days it's been giving me a message saying I can have an early upgrade for free.

I've screenshot the picture below, but when I go into upgrade early option it is telling me that I need to pay my early upgrade fee?

I've contacted EE on 150 and they say I still have to wait 19 days for my upgrade.

Surely that's false advisement on EE side? Wouldn't they have to honour it?

@Bobblot   You are aware if you upgrade before your upgrade period you’ll be required to have the same or more costly tariff than you have now you cannot have a cheaper tariff,  if you only have 19 days before your upgrade period you might as well wait.     It’s also an offer that EE have to accept if you make the request to upgrade early even if it says you can have it free. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

They don't make that clear on the website, which isn't very good. 

it just says I can upgrade for free and when I click on it, it still doesn't mention anything about upgrading for free if I pay the same price or go to higher plan.

It only says that I have to pay the remaining amount on the plan.

I just think it's poor on EE side to put that in the middle of my EE part of the website, it doesn't say on the banner that T&C apply.
