EE app not working ever

I have tried several times to log into the app over last few weeks never ever works. I have tried uninstall and reinstall doesn't work just comes up with "sorry there seems to be a problem" I also try to log onto the website and I can't access anything all I want to do is upgrade

Are you getting any error messages or is there a particular part that isn't working for you? Or is it a login issue?

It has finally started working after 3 weeks and hours on the phone. Only problem is I now have my mobile and broadband with different log ins. Never mind at least I can access everything. EE need to do sufficient systems testing, and beta testing before releasing apps to the public.

This app hasn't EVER worked. It is impossible to navigate. I'm trying to gift data to kids. App not working, web site not working.  Spend over £200/month with EE. Had enough!!!!

I know how frustrating it is when things aren't working as expected, especially if you are struggling with the EE app and your main online account.

Are you seeing an error message? 

Have you been able to gift data before?

Are both numbers on the same account that you want to gift data between?

Hi Linzi,

There is no error, the app just hangs and is unresponsive. I've been able to gift data in the past and the issues are erratic. Sometimes the app will respond until a certain 'page' then hang; other times I can get only as far as logging in.

I did manage eventually to use the web browser yesterday. However spending and average of 1.5 hours trying to gift data every time is a nightmare. I'm told by customer services that this is a known and common issue and some accounts are affected. I have 5 lines on this account, two of which are giftable... I also have Full fibre with EE.

I am considering leaving EE now as I cannot afford the time spent to administrate. The web site's gift data page simply points to 'home' rather than data gifting, sending us into a vicious circle.

Thanks for coming back to me.

I'm disappointed to hear that you're considering leaving us, and I do hope you change your mind.

If you do continue to face these issues, rather than spending longer trying to do it online, I would say to call us on 150 so we can gift the data for you.

If the team is aware of the issue, they will be doing everything they can to get this resolved.

Mine the same absolutely  atrocious been in touch with tech team 3 times still not solved

We don't ant you to have any trouble using the app, so I'd love to help. 

Could you let me know a little more about what you're having trouble with? Are you having trouble logging in, or do you have trouble once you've managed to do so?
