EE app not working. Unable to access Parental Controls.

Over this weekend we seem to have lost access to all social media sites despite parental controls being set t allow them. However, since Sunday the EE app will not load parental controls. I just get the loading icon spinning endlessly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app 4 times now. As well as rebooting the router. No change. 

Anyone else experiencing this and or have a solution? 

I'm using a Pixel 6a.

I am also disappointed with EE’s services.

I regret that I moved from BT to EE. Big mistake.

I moved from BT to EE and I thought the BT app was bad enough but at least it worked. The EE app is so laggy, constantly getting spinning wheel, and now it’s in maintenance mode so I can’t access parental controls again.

It needs to be quicker for parents to change because children are demanding and need restrictions, which means you have to adjust settings regularly, however when the app does not respond it can take 30mins just to change something.

Additionally the way you schedule and have groups  is so time consuming and clunky so I end up pausing wifi instead but then I can’t switch it back on when the app goes down. It is so frustrating!

Much preferred the way the BT app worked.

I find the only way to fix this when it happens is to restart the router. 

I've even gone to the extremes of buying a smart plug (shelly) that has an offline schedule function so that I can schedule a power drop every Sunday morning at 4am for 120 seconds and then back on again - but I've just had to reboot it again at 9:30pm on a Friday night after spending 20 mins trying to get into the parental controls section on the app.  After a restart, straight in and I could adjust the wifi schedule - much to the annoyance of my 15 year old who really wanted to carry on playing Forza.  

The kit I'm on is the new wifi 7 stuff post trial, but I've found the app and the EE router in general gets laggy/unresponsive after a few days.  

I don't want to have to put a nightly reboot in but I might do and see how it goes.
