App improvement stops parental control.

Why do you keep  “improving” the app at the time when most parents want to turn off the internet for teens? I now can't do it due to the app being unavailable. Also I don't notice any difference at all after all these “improvements “. I specifically moved provider as EE was sold as being good for parents who need this facility.  This is now going to cause upset with my neurodiverse child who has a routine linked to it being turned off

It’s infuriating and it’s regular. Why the planned downtime can’t be done at 01:00 instead of much earlier I don’t know. Frankly it would be less disruptive in the middle of the day..

Same here. Turn off the WiFi in order to get bedtime complete. Then I come back down and find that I can't watch anything for the rest of the evening because while I was doing bedtime they decided to do some maintenance.

Anyone know of a way to turn WiFi back on without the app? I logged into the router by entering https://192.168.1.254 and there are tons of settings to fiddle with but nothing I can see that turns WiFi back on after turning it off via parental controls.

Agree, doing this in the middle of the day would be much less disruptive
