EE app has stopped working with latest Android update

My Android phone (Android 13, Pixel 6 phone) required an update and a restart yesterday and now the EE app won't open and I get constant (every 20 secs or so) notifications flash up that the EE app isn't responding and needs to close. Further restarts/resets haven't helped. The only option seems to be to uninstall the app! Any ideas?

Goto App settings, My EE app, Permissions and remove contacts. Dont need to clear cache/data etc. This is the quickest way around problem.

However, when you do try to sync contacts, it crashes and doesnt open. Looks like there is a problem with new update.
