I'm trying to log into my EE account to update my billing info / direct debit and when I sign in on the EE mobile app it says 'Your account is now closed' despite me never trying to close my account. I have just been billed for another month, which is fine, but why is EE saying my account is closed? My phone service is working normally / as intended.
When I try login to the desktop app, it just constantly refreshes the page after entering my credentials.
what on earth...

It is likely there is a closed account linked to your EE ID. This is a common issue for customers who have moved from Pay As You Go to Pay Monthly for example, when the Pay As You Go account gets closed. Similarly can happen for customers going the other way too.
If you contact EE Customer Services on 150, they should be able to look into getting the closed account removed from your EE ID and your active one linked if required.

Thanks, but I've jumped ship. A contract of £7 per month suddenly escalated to £12 a month, and there are much better deals out there.
