No matter whether I try to connect manually or scan the QR code, my EE App refuses to link with router. Always get the message that my router and mobile phone must be connected to the same wifi net work. THEY ARE!!!
I urgently need to change my wifi password as I have an unwanted user who has my password.
How can I change my password if App refuses to recognise router?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@Chailey : You don't need an app to change the WiFi pwd.
Login to your EE Smart Hub/Router at http://192.168.1.254 with the admin password on the bottom of the slider label on the back of the router. Then on the Advanced > Advanced Wireless page you should be able to see your WiFi password in clear & change it if you like.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband
