EE App Loading Bug

Hi All

The EE app for me this morning is not loading get a welcome to EE and then get a spinning wheel of doom, I can see others with the same issues this morning, was working fine yesterday, seems to be since last night iOS update 18.0.1  anyone else see the same issues - I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but you get the same

This is what happens, and doing the same on multiple devices

This seems to be an existing issue with the app. Hopefully EE will fix this issue shortly.

I also have this issue.

unfortunately a search here hid not yield this thread until after I posted my own thread

the issue occurs on app relaunch, first launch on reinstall seems ok

I suspect it’s related to setting permissions on the device, specifically push notifications 
as that shows a spinning icon when you check app permissions on first launch after reinstall

 

issue is seed on iPhone and iPad

 No; literally nothing and I find the 150 service terrible can never get through to department I need, so the messaging on the app was the best point of contact for me and now the app is down I don’t know what to do?

UPDATE

I've called EE Tech Support to report it this morning was taken around the houses and eventually they reported it to back office, they say there is no ETA on a fix but I would be notified.

it be 2029 time will get fix they keep tell me do stuff you cant do on iPhone

try to raise this issue with BT/EE this afternoon and this is what I got from them 

"I did get this checked for you and there is no issues with the app that has been reported"

I recently upgraded my iPhone and downloaded the EE app. It will let me log in the first time normally and see my account but after that it comes up with this screen and then it will just be a loading screen and won't move from it.

I've deleted and redownloaded two times now and even restarted my phone between downloads. Any ideas why?IMG_1882.jpgIMG_1883.PNG

Hey there @jctlorde, welcome back to the Community 😊

Is it whenever you reload the app that you're getting this error, or are you fully logging out manually?

Also which model of phone are you using, and is your software version all up to date?
