Hi I have a new iPhone 17 pro and want to transfer number to eSIM but it’s saying transfer can’t happen why is this and how do I transfer it?

Are you following the instructions on the Downloading and using an EE eSIM. There's a section for transferring an eSIM on Apple devices.
