Can't link my phone to my EE account

I am trying to link my new sim in my phone to my EE account. I get to the point in the process where I say that I pay the bills for the phone and then it says 'We're having trouble linking your products'. It's been like this for 2 days now.

Is there anything to fix this?

Could you please confirm if the number you are trying to link is pay as you go or pay monthly?

Are you trying to add this to an existing My EE account?

Is this a wide on going issue you guys are having? I can't also link my phone number up it's not the best first impression. Also the invoice that came with my sim was wrong £30 left my account as I picked a £30 bundle but the invoice says £20 and I have a £20 and £5 leaflet none of which match the invoice or what was taken from my account and I can't link anything up to check what's been added to my account.

The SIM card would need to have been topped up and activated by making calls and texts to link to a My EE account. 

Can you text BALANCE to 150, does this show the correct pack? 

You can call us on 150 and the team will link the account and check the account for you.

Hi. 
I have exactly same problem to link my sim into my account. 
I bought pack two week ago for £15 and I top up £5 but I still have problem to link my sim. 
I need some help.

Me and my wife is experiencing  the same thing for over a week now. We couldn't  link our sim card numbers to our account. We badly need a load to communicate with our work. Hope you fix this.
