Bug in EE app when trying to add roaming data abroad

I haven't been able to get pass this terrible bug on the EE app all week since me and wife have been on holiday!
You login to your EE app (which already has your info and phone number registered to it)
You select the roaming abroad option and then select the package option you want.
Then when trying to add the package to your phone it just takes / jumps you to a register your phone number option, which you cannot get past! As your phone is already registered with EE!
It does the same on mine and my wife's EE apps...

Are you able to log in to your My EE Online OK?

Yes to all your questions.
Lastest versions and can login and no app still does not work properly and is the same issues 😞 . The ee app is awful compared to other phone network work apps I'm sorry to say..
My Smarty app on my work phone works perfectly here abroad and lets me do what I need.. I don't understand why the EE app on mine and wife's phone. Is being such a pain! And throw all these issues up! And doesn't let you do anything like e.g. what I am trying to do now (add EU roaming package to our phones).

Thanks for getting back to me.
I'd recommend reporting this further to our technical care team once your home or whenever is convenient for yourself. I know this may be frustrating but once reported to our tech team they will do all they can to resolve this quickly.
For adding roaming whilst abroad to your account please continue to use My EE online.

Thank you for trying..
Were home in couple of days so no worries now. But perhaps this thread could be passed onto technical and they could take a look! It just need to be more streamlined the app and easier to use and less difficultly when abroad to be able to get online. Even if they add a get temporary online solution to sort these issues out 👍🏻.

Of course, I can absolutely pass this feedback on.
Regarding the app issues I would also recommend giving us a call when you can.
When the app is down under maintenance we recommend customers using My EE Online which can be found HERE.
This could be helpful for future reference.
