Can't find type of phone showing in my EE account

When I logged into my account it used to show which phone I owned, but I can't find that on there now.  I have just purchased a new Android phone from Amazon (as it was much cheaper than doing on a contract) and also started a new Sim only contract as mine was being 'refreshed' and I want to be sure they send the right sim card for it.  Can I assume all sim cards fit all phones now so EE don't need to know or am I not looking in the right place?  They seem to have changed the site again and it has much less info and screens than it used to.  On another note, I asked some questions back in April when I was in Florida as to why my phone wouldn't log on to the networks, recently found out what I thought was a 4G phone was only a max 3G, hence the problem.  That's why I've bought this new max 5G phone as EE say they are switching off 3G next year and I want to get ahead of the game.  Many thanks for your help.

@Beaver8   EE send out 3 in one sims so you just push out the bit you need.    If you’re on PAYG you’ll not get 5G as that’s only available to contract customers at present.     Your online account shows your phone type not the my EE app.   It doesn’t mean anything though.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you for your reply.   I've always had a contract with EE and they have confirmed the new sim will be 5G capable, but we don't have 5G in our area yet.  Glad the sim is adaptable, as I always buy my phone because it is so much cheaper than getting it on contract and I keep them until they expire or they switch off the capability, as in 3G, so upgrading is never a consideration.  The new one will be my fifth phone in 32 years.
