Address change broken - Well This IS Awkward

I've been trying to update my address on the EE website for nearly a month now and I run headlong into a 'Well, this is awkward' before returning to the page I tried to change address from.

This actually is very awkward.  Any chance of it being fixed sometime soon?

Mac / Monterey 12.6 (12.5.x was doing exactly the same) / Safari or Chrome.

A year later, this is still going on for many functions on your website.

Browser console is reporting 500 server errors. It is a problem on EE's end.

Pushing the app is not a solution, and also not inclusive of those who need larger screens and keyboards.

Fix the website.

Yes. Edge, Chrome, Safari, Windows 10 and 11, various Mac OSs, iOS and Android. I'd prefer that EE fixed the site rather than sending out the community posters to tell me I'm holding it wrong, if that's alright, thanks. Sorry this will sound a bit tetchy, but this is not a new problem, others also remark on it and the response is not helpful.

FWIW, I also use VCO and EE Mobile Manager at work, as the company I work for has several thousand people with work mobiles on the two networks. I'll just say that the fact that EE haven't fixed the ability to easily update your own address in years does not surprise me. Vodafone may charge a bit more but they are a much more professional outfit that give me much better tools.

What happens when you try to change the address, @tref_h? How far do you get with it? Do you get any error messages? Or is the option just not there?

well this is still going

tried to amend over a year ado when i moved.  CS saif they would change it.

now its nearly 2025, went to upgrade my phone only to find my old address on there and still the same error with updating the address.  

used chat on help in app and web.  no one there.  

says call 150 on another phone.   dont have one.  

 

EE fix this please.

I'm sorry you are also having this problem.

If you have no phone to call in and speak to our team over the phone, you can pop into an EE store and they can help with this.
