Wanted to provide some feedback following the excellent customer service and support I have received over the past few days following an issue with my phone

 

The Wifi on my fold2 stopped working, it just wouldn't turn on, and after many attempts and even factory resets, the issue remained.

 

I returned the phone to the EE shop in Eastleigh, and they promptly sent the device off for repair

 

I received a quite ridiculous quote of £1260 for repairing the wifi, which the repair company said was down to physical damage/user abuse.  The phone wasn't damaged in anyway.  The screen is intact both inside and out (it's a fold), there was no damage to the case, it wasn't dropped, or water damaged.  The wifi just stopped working whilst it was sat on my desk Monday afternoon, so quite how the repair company came to that conclusion is a mystery.

 

Thomas xxxxxx dealt with my claim and I had a refurbished phone so I was back in the game by Saturday. 

 

So please pass on my thanks, to all involved, particularly Thomas and the EE team at the Eastleigh branch whom were great throughout.

Thanks for coming here to share your experience.

 

I'm glad that you were able to get this resolved in a positive way after the initial repair quote.

 

It sounds like Thomas, and the staff at the store went above and beyond to get this sorted for you.
