I answered a cold caller (big mistake) from EE and switched from BT to EE. Promised help to set up, the rep organised a date for Open Reach to call. Asked if I would like to keep my phone number - yes.
Open reach didn’t come, I was given a new phone number.
All of my devices worked perfectly with BT. I now have no digital phone, TV is only basic, cannot access catch up, printer doesn’t work. The only thing that works is the broadband. Made an appointment with the EE shop who cannot help me because the switch was done by a cold caller who left no paperwork and shouldn’t have called in the first place because I have a notice on the door.
I have a wireless connection, the person in the shop said that I need a digital adaptor, why? I didn’t need one with BT
EE have said they are working on it, since last Friday (the digital phone). Is anyone able to help me? I am getting more and more stressed. Would I be able to switch to another provider? I seem to have signed up for 2yrs with EE.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

I am replying to my post. I have had a phone call from EE and a very nice gentleman (Michael)has sorted my problems out for me, I am so happy to have almost everything in working order now. I have an engineer coming to do one last job and hopefully I will be able to get on with my life.
Thank you Michael. 👍 😁
