No way to Export Contacts from Advanced Digital Phone

Hello all

I Hope you are Well.

I had Full Fibre 900 Ultimate Installed on 23 January which all went well.

Previously I had the 72mb FTTC Package.

I have an Advanced Digital Phone, purchased through EE, and when I accessed the HUB Manager for the Old HUB (Smart HUB Plus), under Phone / Contacts, there was no Option to Export the Contacts, only Import.

When the Full Fibre was Installed with he New HUB (HUB 7 Pro) I lost all of the Contacts on the Phone which I have spent this past Weekend adding, again.

I have looked in the HUB Manager of the HUB 7 Pro and, again, there is an Option to Import Contacts but no Option to Export.

Is this a known Issue?

I have spoken to a couple of EE Agents and they just say that there should be an Export Option.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with your contacts, and I can understand your frustration. I'm not aware of any known issues regarding this, but if you get back in touch with the team they will be able to raise a single user fault, so we can look into why this has happened.

@Kncowans , unfortunately, no, there is no option to email customer support.

@Kncowans Stop wasting your time the BT Smarthub2 is the only one with the Import/export off contacts, none off the EE allows Export at all, ever have so reset your Router and lose them all, you have to put them all in by hand! All the contacts are stored in the Router, the DV Phone is a dumb device!

@Kncowans  When I moved to EE and Digital Home phone I created a .vcf file containing  all the contacts I required and then imported it. Now when I add a new contact to the phone I also add it too the .vcf file so that if the Hub has to be reset or replaced I can then import the complete contacts.

@Kncowans and @Storm500 If you need @NotInService is offering his macro if needed free to anyone that request's. Just how you go about it all will be the Interesting part with EE NOT allowing any form off inter comms between user's in anyway shape or form on the EE Forum! See the link below!
