Hello, We were recently moved from BT to EE. However the EE website doesn't seem very complete. I have tried logging in to our EE account to manage the Call Protect feature on our Digital Voice phone but each time I just get a page that says "SORRY! WE COULDN'T FIND THAT PAGE". Has anyone had a similar problem? I have tried this using both PC and Apple Mac and neither work.

Hi @KayLisaSto
I'm getting the same error, it did use to work because I've used it many times before.
However, I have just been able to manage Call Protect through the EE App, which is a first for me. It had always been unavailable to me in the app before. My experience of EE in both the app and online is that error messages are quite common, it's as if rather than fix bugs they just keep moving them around different areas of your account.
Re-arranging the layouts also happens often which is probably why it's now saying they can't find the page. Give the EE app a try, managing call protect is working for me there.

@KayLisaSto Welcome to the EE Forum now that you have left the BT fold, you are in for the most fun time of your life, if it does not work call EE CS, if that does not work use the Electronic Complaints Form the ONLY online method for dragging it out. Find and use the Help above on this page. Link to get you going.

Hi, JimM11. I haven't had to use the forum for a while, but now find myself in need of some assistance, regarding nuisance callers. We have exhausted the 10 available slots on our handset, in order to block callers, but they still keep coming. On checking our account, I discovered that we haven't got Call Protect on our landline add-ons. Can you advise me, please, how to get this added. The constant unwarranted and unwanted calls are now becoming unbearable. Thanks in advance.

@dposborne67 Are you on the new EE DV service where the phone plugs into the rear off the router, or still on the old landline system connected to the copper line via the OR socket?

Hi @dposborne67
In my opinion Call protect isn't worth having as the calls nearly always come through, spam callers spoof numbers so it's likely to be a different number next time anyway.
I would recommend replacing your handsets with something like the BT 4600. Only numbers that are in your phone book get straight through, all others are intercepted and the caller is then asked to leave a message identifying themselves. If they leave a message (only genuine callers do) your phone rings and you'll hear the message that the caller has left, you then have the option to accept the call or reject it.
I accept that this will cost in order to replace your handsets but it will cut you nuisance calls stone dead, Call Protect does not.
